Happy with the crawler

The combination of 4x4, low-speed gearing and the realistic body is what I like most. It feels made for outdoor crawling rather than just straight-line driving.

Really fun trail truck

I made a little course with bricks, stones and pieces of wood. It took some attempts to find the right line, which actually made it more fun.

Good balance of speed and torque

The fast setting is useful for getting from one place to another, while low gear gives much better control over rocks.

Looks better in person

The Wrangler-style body has a lot more character in person. The headlights and proportions make it look like a miniature trail truck.

I mainly use it on dirt and grass. It has enough torque for small slopes and the steering is easy to manage.

The slower gear is my favourite part. You can approach rocks carefully and make small steering corrections instead of rushing into them.

It stays fairly planted when going over uneven ground. The truck looks like it belongs on a proper trail rather than just a living-room floor.

Normally I ignore different speed modes on RC cars, but here the two gears make sense. Slow for obstacles and faster for normal driving.
