The MT970 is a high-speed hobby-grade truck capable of reaching a top speed of 60 KM/H (approximately 37 MPH). This speed is achieved on flat, smooth surfaces using a fully charged battery. For younger beginners, the 2.4GHz remote allows for proportional throttle control so you can drive at slower speeds while learning.
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?

The included 7.4V 1500mAh Li-ion battery provides approximately 18–20 minutes of continuous high-speed driving. Charging is simple using the provided USB Intelligent Charging Cable, which takes about 150 minutes for a full charge. For longer racing sessions, we recommend keeping a spare MYTOYS 1500mAh battery on hand.
Can this RC truck handle water, sand, and mud?

The MT970 is designed with an IPX4 water-resistance rating, meaning it can handle splashes, damp grass, and light moisture. The high-traction rubber tires are excellent for sand and dirt. However, it is not fully waterproof; you should avoid submerged water or heavy rain to protect the motor and electronic speed controller (ESC).
Is the MT970 suitable for a 10-year-old child?

Yes, it is ideal for kids aged 10 years and up. While it is much faster than a standard "toy" car, the durable plastic chassis and independent suspension are built to withstand the occasional bumps and crashes that come with learning.
